The Lower Mississippi River Watershed Management Organization (LMRWMO) implements studies of the water resources within the WMO to better understand the issues leading to poor water quality and identify solutions. It also provides annual reports and newsletters highlighting the activities of the WMO.

CLEAN WATER GRANT FUNDS

The LMRWMO has received multiple State grants for project implementation. Below is information on completed and active grant projects and studies funded by the State of MN Clean Water Fund.

The LMRWMO also partnered with the MN Pollution Control Agency on the 4 Lakes Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy (WRAPS) project and study. Click the button below for more information.

WATER MONITORING REPORTS

The LMRWMO partners with the Metropolitan Council’s Citizen Assisted Monitoring Program (CAMP). CAMP water monitoring volunteers collect water samples during the year on select LMRWMO Lakes and streams. The following reports summarize that water monitoring information.
